In case you don't know about it, this Saturday we are having an Erin Hunter chat with the authors of the Warriors series!

Here are some important instructions. If you are coming to the chat, please read this entire message carefully!

The chat will take place in the author chat room. I've added a link to it on the top menu, or you can get to it here:

The author chat room is pretty much like the regular chat room, except that there are two places you can type things. The top one (with the yellow background) is for questions or comments you want to send to the author. Anything you type in that area and click the "Ask" button will be sent to the moderator, who will forward it to the authors if appropriate and not duplicate. Your questions will NOT appear in the chat room until they are answered, so please don't keep resubmitting them!
The lower typing box, with the white background and the "Send" button, is for normal chat in the chat room. The authors may or may not see anything typed there, so if there is anything you want the authors to see, please type it in the upper (Ask) box.
Please test the chat room before the chat and make sure it works for you. I will not have time to solve problems once the chat begins.
For anyone who hasn't joined yet but who wants to join for the chat, please don't wait until the last minute. If you do, problems could come up that we can't resolve in time for the chat.
Please do not ask the authors if they like your name or to read your fanfic. I know you are all really proud of your work, and you should be, but we're going to have enough trouble getting through the questions as it is. We just won't be able to deal with 100 people submitting fanfics and names.
Also, if more than one person asks the same question, I'll only submit it once. I'll most likely choose the one which is written better, not necessarily the first one, so take the time and word your questions well! I will also try to choose questions from people who haven't had questions answered yet, if possible.
Spoilers for all books WILL be allowed! Sorry for those who haven't read all the books, but there are a lot of people who want to ask questions about the newest books.
Judging from the number of new members over the last two weeks, the chat is going to be HUGE. There will be a lot of people there. Because of that, I'm going to ask that everyone PLEASE try to limit random comments once the chat begins. Some chatting amongst yourselves is ok, but if too many people are talking, the questions and answers will scroll out of the window so fast that people won't have a chance to read them. I know everyone will be excited, but please try to reign yourself in. If it starts to become a problem, I'll have to start gagging the people who are making too many random comments. And I REALLY DON'T want to do that.

I really want the chat to be fun for everyone, but I please keep in mind that, with so many people in the chat room, we have to observe some courtesies to try to make sure that it works out. Thanks.

Also, What can you expect from like 60 somewhat people at the chatroom firing questions?
You cant stop teenagers/preteens/children to say yay. I dont think I can even stop myself from that wonderful word.

That's awesome about your black belt test! What art do you train in? Good luck with it! Let me know how you do. (I can't remember if we talked about this before, but I'm a black belt in Aikido). I know there are several other martial artists on W&W.

I also wanted to let everyone know to ask your most important questions first. With so many people coming to the chat, each person many not be able to have many questions answered. You can also put a star *** on your most important questions and we'll let the authors know that the questions marked with a star are people's most important ones. We can't guarantee that they'll answer all of them; they may choose not to answer some for whatever reasons, but we'll ask them to give priority to those with stars.

Priority will also be given to good, interesting questions and well-written questions.

Also, we're getting so many new registrations that we're running out of space for the chat. (There's a limit on how many people can be in the chat room). I'm going to disable registrations when we reach the limit. Currently there are only 7 spaces left for the chat, and then I'm going to disable registrations for the rest of the day. So if you have any friends that want to come to the chat, tell them to register NOW.
