Double-Posting and Editing Posts
Okay, the Wands and Worlds forums are becoming really crowded with posts like these:
Post 1: *bump*
Post 2: BUMP
Post 3: BUMP!!!
And so on...with so many bumping posts in a row, forums are being cluttered.
So I have a solution. Well, from the two days I was a member of Warriors Wish, I realized that one of the rules was not to double post. And I think that is a good thing to strive for here, because double posts are annoying.
So....
1. If you want to add something after you posted, edit your post. It's not that hard.
2. VERY IMPORTANT! If you want to bump a forum, EDIT YOUR LAST POST! It will have the same amount of posts on it, and it will be bumped to the top of the forums without cluttering up the forums. -glares at Hazelleaf-
3. Accidentally double-posting is okay, just please try not to click the "post" button 300 times...
Okay, these are just ideas, not laws you have to follow. Just a disclaimer.

Well, that seems okay, I guess. *shrugs* Can't promise I'll follow it, though. Sometimes you need to bump things.
EDIT: Sorry if that sounded rude. Didn't mean for it to be. It just means that I'm very stressed and forgetful so I probably won't remember lol

I tried editing a comment to bump the post, but it didn't bump it. It might be because I'm an administrator. I notice that if other people edit a comment, it goes down to the bottom, but if I edit one it stays where it is. So I guess I'll have to keep posting comments to bump them. Sorry.

Sheila, you and Magic, (I think) are exceptions. I think Rabbit is talking about the majority of members.
I admit, I have myself double-posted, but it's uncommon, and usually it's at two different times, as in a post something, and if i go to post it again, and no one has commented since I had last been there and all, thats all

That's a good idea rabbit. Although, i usually don't bump my forums (if i make one) and I don't really edit my posts all the time. But I'll try to keep that in mind..!
Those multiple posts where someone clicked the buttons three hundred times make me dizzy... @_@

I always edit my posts anyway. Especially after I spot errors... it's not like it's the chat room where you have to correct right after... there's a magical thing called editing...
The only problem with bumping like that is that if somebody posts after your bump and you want to bump again, it brings that first post below the other person's. Not that that's a major problem, but it's just kinda weird...

Starry, I think that's what Rabbit was suggesting, but it doesn't work for admins, because when we edit a comment it doesn't change the date, and so it won't get re-bumped. We'll just have to double bump when necessary.
