Wands and Worlds was down for a few hours the other day. Magicyop and Sheila have been having to disaplin everyone and not have fun like the site was intended to. CRAFT OF THE WEEK:
Take 5 peices of art tissue paper and put them in differnt angles ontop of each other. (They can be the same color or difffernt.)
Put your finger into the middle of your paper pile. Take the papers and wrap them up around your finger. Remove your finger and staple a colored pipe cleaner to the bottom.
You should have a paper flower.

RIDDLE OF THE WEEK:
I float from the sky at times and come in many colors. I am released at times and fall to the ground.

MOVIE REVIEW:
Movie: Marie Antoinette
Rating: PG-13 for nudity and suggestive themes
Stars: 4 out of 5!
Review: This is possibly my favourite historical movie out there. It takes such a fresh spin on things, it's just absolutely breath-taking. The characters retain theit acrtual accents, and things are embellished and downsized at certain spots in the movie to achieve an artistic yet accessible movie. Highly reccomended. The music is also fairly modern, as it features one of my favourite songs by The Strokes (called 'What Ever Happened?') on the soundtrack. An enjoyable movie, theough it's slightly disorienting as it goes from a lavish, cheerful modd, to a gloomy and depressing one near the end in a mtter of scenes.

GUIDE/INFORMATION:
Absol: The Disaster Pokémon
Absol is a long-lived Dark-type Pokémon, with the ability to predict the future. It will often warn nearby people of natural disasters, although it is a common (and false) belief that the disasters are the Absol's fault. It lives in the mountains, and rarely ventures down. As a result, it is a somewhat rare Pokémon.

*Stats:
An Absol's base stats are as follows:
HP: 65

Attack: 130

Defense: 60

SpAtk: 75

SpDef: 60

Speed: 75
As you can see, Absol's attack is quite good. However, its other stats leave much to be desired, and Absol can easily be KO'd by a super effective hit. Speaking of which, Absol is weak against Bug- and Fighting-type attacks. It does have resistance against Ghost- and Dark-type attacks, and is completely not effected by Psychic-type attacks, making it a good choice for fighting a Mewtwo or Alakazam.

*Items, Abilities, and Natures
For items, Leftovers is good, as it restores some of Absol's HP each turn. Another good choice, perhaps even better, is Scope Lens, especially when using high critical hit ratio moves like Night Slash. Combined with Super Luck, this can be deadly.
For natures, I'd choose Jolly (+spd, -spatk) or Impish (+dfn, -spatk). Special attack isn't really needed if you are using physical moves like Slash or Return, and Speed and Defense are always helpful for Absols, Speed letting it deal as much damage as possible before the enemy, and Defense helping it survive longer.
As for abilities, I'd think Super Luck (increased critical hit ratio) is better than Pressure (enemy uses 2 PP instead of one), but you can choose what you want. My Absol has Pressure, and I still love him! XD

*Moves
-High critical hit ratio moves, such as Night Slash, Psycho Cut, and Slash are always good.
-Swords Dance is a MUST! It makes the already high attack stat of an Absol get even higher! Very useful.
-Return. Of course, this is only good if your Absol loves you. If it hates you, then.... You must be a very evil person, and I hope you get eaten by Weedles.
-Blizzard is one of my favorite moves for Absol, just because its good, and its always good to have a mix of moves.
-Baton Pass could be useful, as you can use a lot of Swords Dances, and then pass it on to your uber-Infernape or whatever.
-Me First can be useful. And fun. Hehe.... Especially when your enemy's lv. 94 Aggron uses Earthquake, and you get to use Me First... Heh...

*Interesting Facts
-A Shiny Absol is copper-red instead of gray-black, and it has a slight pink tinge. I would very much like one, so if you ever catch one, than give it to me, yes? ;)
-The word 'Absol' in French is 'Absol'. Congrats! You've learned some of the French language. If you already known ow to speak French, than try German: 'Absol'. :)
-Absol's head is modeled after the Yin-Yang symbol. It also reminds me of awesomeness.
-It is unknown why Absol is so awesome. Probably it's because it just is. If you have a better idea, feel free to contact me.

Norwegian Forest Cat

The Norwegian Forest Cat is a domestic cat breed native to the Northern part of Europe and as you can tell from how fluffy its fur is, it is cold up there! This breed is old. . World War II brought an abrupt end to the fledgling Norwegian show cat industry, and the breed was forgotten until the 1970s The cats are now bred all over the World including the U.S. They are large cats and have tufted ears, a long bushy tail, and an essentially water proof coat. This cat breed is BIG, the males weighing up to 13-22 lbs and the females weighing up to half that size. They are smart and playful cats. Their pelts come in many colors and have lots of facial expressions. Their hind legs are longer than their front legs. In addition this cat breed makes a great pet if you live in a cold climate and love to play. (You don’t have to live in cold weather to have this breed, it just likes it a bit more^^)
