Ok Here are my honest thoughts on Seekers book #1:
I thought it was pretty good, definitely very emotional. I still like the Warriors series the best, but it made me want to buy the next Seekers, because I absolutely love how Erin Hunter writes.
I thought there were a few too many deaths. I mean, seriously, Tobi, Oka, Kallik's mom (forgot her name), Nanuk, and now Taqqiq is missing. It is a little too much for me. I was so sad when Nanuk died!! :( she was my favorite. Oka was a good death though, because without Oka dying, Lusa would never have left, but why Nanuk!! And poor Tobi.
I actually liked Oka in the end, I felt so bad for her.
I'm kind of irritated with Toklo, though, because like Lusa traveled all that way and he was a jerk to her, but I do feel bad for him..
I thought the whole thing with Urujak was a little too much. I would have prefered they skipped the whole thing with him turning into other animals, it was a little too weird and...unrealistic
So what do you guys think?
I thought Seekers was really Good. I can't wait for the next one either. I thought there were many deaths, but it all worked out in the end. Well I mean it made the plot more interesting. And i think the thing with Ujurak is a little weird. I hope he can learn how to use his power. Also Kallik's moms name is Nuse I believe.
I love K.C./The Veronicas/C.U./L.L./J.S.

Though I like the writing style the Erins have, I don't think I'm going to read Seekers. I've heard too many things about it, and the plotline just seems like an impossibility in reality. I'm not a big fan of fiction books that don't have that level of reality to them. D: But death is a bonus! I love it when books kill off loads of characters.

I really liked seekers! I know, Nanuk was so nice! Kallik was all alone and everything and although at first Nanuk was a little reluctant [at least in my opinion] to take on Kallik because i think she was kinda like Oka; all of her cubs had died or something, but in the end she was so nice! and Kallik had just found someone to take care of her! it was sad, but you have to admit, it was a good idea to let her die. oh by the way, Kalliks moms name is Nisa not Nuse. [sorry waterstripe!] Fire
Ahah- Nisa, thats the word I was looking for :). hopefully the erins can keep the plot moving once they reach the "place where bear spirits dance". I don't really know what else can happen after they get there?
I thought the Erins did really good with Oka ending up in the zoo, that was a big twist and it was really cool.
Aww Nanuk :*(. Kallik better find Taqqiq or else i will be extra extra sad for her.
What are you guyses favorite out of the three? I personally like Kallik, but maybe Lusa. I like Toklo but hes just so--MEAN >:P
Alrite im settling on Kallik.

I like Seekers more then Warriors, personally. I guess i'm more of a bear person...
Nisa is Kallik's mom, that was the sadest death to me. Personally, not to sound bad or anything but I liked when Tobi died, i didn't like him.

Bought it. Didn't read it. I hate bears, personally.

Chris from LOM in cat form ^ Thanks Springy-doo!
Fire I was going to say Nusa, I spelled it wrong, but you are right anyway, so it really doesn't matter.
I love K.C./The Veronicas/C.U./L.L./J.S.

I thought the name was Nera after I read the excerpt in Outcast. 8D
Bought it. Read it a lot earlier than I normally would have (at school FOR THE WIN). Liked it... a lot. Not quite as much as Warriors (the whole independence thing isn't quite as appealing as the Clan setup, plus the fact that this means I can't make decent family treeeeeeeeees! D:), but yeah, it was very intriguing. :D

ZOMG CLOUDSTAR IS IN CATS OF THE CLANS :DDD
i hope taqqiq will come back. besides that i thought it was good, but not as good as warriors. i think taqqiq will come back as an evil character in Great Bear Lake. cant wait for Great Bear Lake!
Want a lift?
I thought the fantasy aspect of it was really interesting with Urujak. Plus the book's about global warming! Can't get more timely than that! Overall, really good. Nice change of pace. ^_^ And killings were sad, but good.

I brought Seekers, finished it a few days ago. I really loved it. I can't say whether it was as good as Warriors or worse, though. I actually like the concept of shapeshifting, because there's still plenty of realism in the book. It's not as if Toklo reacted like this: "Oh. Shapeshifting bear, okay."
Even though being slightly dumb, I love Urjurak. I don't really know, he's just kinda cute...maybe overly innocent is the term I'm looking for? I guess I like that about him.
I don't like Toklo...at all. He's self centered and cruel...yet I pity him anyway. How wierd is that?!
I don't know WHAT to think of Oka...she abandoned her son, proclaimed him dead, seemed to care for Tobi more then Toklo...but she felt so bad about it that she went mad. o0 Again, no clue what to think.
All of the deaths in Seekers was sad, but it made the book better for me...except Nanooks death. Okay, maybe I should have seen it coming. I didn't for some reason. It was just so dramatic...anyway, most of the others who died I knew where going to die.
I don't know what to think of Tobi either. He was always sick and needed attention, and he seemed to want attention all for himself. But...meh. *Shrugs*
Maybe it's just me...but parts of the book I had felt as if I've read them before...gah, Deja vu. Perhaps I'm just stupid. XD
Anyway, I'm definately going to buy the next Seekers book. :D
(XD Wow, all that typing leading to that pathetic ending sentance...)
