Blogs are just another place
Blogs are just another place that you can post whatever is on your mind. It's not much different from a forum topic, except a blog is more individual than a forum topic. (ie., it's yours, whereas a forum topic is more of a general discussion). But in practice, there's not much difference except that blogs don't appear in Active Forum Topics.
