Piano FAILURE XD
SO for the past, I dunno, 2 years, I've been teaching myself to play "Listen To Your Heart" on the piano (I take piano lessons, but I'm learning this song on my own) The problem is, I didn't have a piano. Just a cheesy little keyboard with no pedals and not even a full keyboard. SO I ended up learning only half the song cuz I hate that keyboard >.<
This week, WE GOT A PIANO!!!! =D=D=D!!! I'm SO HAPPY!!!!! A REAL LIVE PIANO, IN MY HOUSE!! I've been so exited that I finished learning the song. In just two days, I've learned 4 whole pages and have them almost perfect. Then I went online and listened to the original song....
I got the beat way off -.- For all these years, I've been playing "Listen To Your Heart" all fooing messed up. The notes: Perfect. The timing: COMPLETELY OFF
So now I have to go back and relearn the song, playing it the RIGHT way. It's going to be fun, really. I just can't believe I didn't notice I was playing it wrong XP I listen to that song onling at least once a week.
So that's my Piano Fail. I should record myself playing it on the piano and put it on Failblog '-'

Oh my goodness!!! I totally feel your pain right now lol. First of all I love the song Listen To Your Heart, but that's beside the point. We've always had just a keyboard with only like 44 keys or something, and i was teaching myself Boston by Augustana then I got the sheetmusic for it and it's totally different and weird from the actual song. i was disappointed, but that is so amazing! great for you that you got a piano! :D sounds like a lot of fun, good luck, you should record and sing it so we can hear it! :)

Awesome! I only had a little
Awesome! I only had a little dinky keyboard for a while, and then we got a full-size digital piano... I'm still hoping to get a real piano soon, though. Even though I want to learn shakuhachi. XD
