AWESOME STORY LILAC <3333333 *shot*

I wanted something that ended in -storm, because I loved the suffix. During gym class over a few days, I decided on three that I liked the best: Rainstorm, Moonstorm and Lakestorm, in that order. Rainstorm was taken, and I read somewhere that Kitten's old name had been Moonstorm so I didn't want to take it, so I went with Lakestorm. I kept expecting to read posts as Rainstorm rather than Lakestorm, but by the time Sheila deleted the (non-upgraded) member Rainstorm, Lakestorm had grown on me enough that I wanted to keep it. The name actually makes sense, too (not like for example Lakeflight would).

Cloudysky: I've always loved the prefix Cloud. I have an unnatural obsession with clouds and the sky in general (particularly the night sky, but phrases like Among the Clouds (best band piece I've ever played) and Chasing Clouds (I <3 him now) set off a liking for the daytime sky), so when SkyClan was revealed (everyone knows how much sympathy I felt for them, to the point that I was wondering if they'd even want sympathy at all) I wanted to change my name to something that was related to SkyClan. I created SkyClan's Song in their honor. Shortly after, Fruity (yeah, Fruity, this was when she liked Warriors Dx) took the name Skysong, so I was forced to rethink. I decided on Cloudsky, but that didn't sound quite right, so I made it flow better with Cloudysky. After that, me and Starry proceeded to attack Cloudstar when anyone said "cloud" in the chatroom. My matching sig was Cloudy skies, far above your head... Rainy days, wash the sun away....

Cloudfrost: Keeping with the Cloud theme, I wanted something that fit with it. I've never really liked Cloudstorm (even though I did use it in the original Time), so I wanted something related to clouds (i.e. not Cloudfur or Cloudclaw or anything). I don't really remember how Cloudfrost came to mind, but it did, and I used it and later named the main character of Scattered after it.

Well...I was reading Fire and Ice (Into the Wild was checked out. >.>) and I thought the Clans, the names, and the Code were absolutely brilliant. I made a list of all the forestlike things I could think of so I could come up with an awesome first-part-name. I was partial to Ash, but I didn't like that because there was already an Ashfur (from ShadowClan) and an Ashfoot (from WindClan, of course). Then I chose Tail because it sounds good with Ash. Ash...tail. Ash. Tail. Ashtail...

So yeah...=P

Now, I'm just Sparrow, but originally I was Sparrowfeather (or Sparrowheart, lol), which was the name of one of my RP characters AND what I thought fit best with my personality. After I got sick of Sparrowheart for some weird reason and thought Sparrowfeather was too long, I switched to Sparrow XD

Me and one of my friends used to RP and one of her charecter was Fernstar. I always liked the Fern but didn't really like the whole star leader thing, so I picked Fernheart. Now I sort of want to change it to Fernstep, should I?

Well I wish I had a nice big reason why I chose the name Rainripple but I don't really. I did take my time in choosing it. I made a list of all the name beginnings that I liked as well as the endings. I came up with some cool ones but this one stuck. It really works because I love the rain and my favorite type of cat it the smoke patterned tortoiseshell turkish angora. Wow fancy long name... The name does mean alot to me but not for any big reason... I also like it even more now since Vicky complemented it and mentioned me in her tour journal. :)
According to warriorcats.com my name should be Mudpelt but that didn't sound very appealing to me. Makes me think of Mudclaw too...

Yes, it can get quite confusing, especially in the chatroom. However, in the forums, some people (such as me =P) have their name in their signature. =D

For me I got my first name off of the warriors website and I liked it (Spottedpool) but then I started thinking that it sounded....dark or something. I was thinking about spotted and Spottedleaf jumped into my head, so I used Leaf, and I like the morning, and leafmorning doesn't make sense, so I came up with Morningleaf =p
And I get confused too when people change their names.

I don't really have an awesome, important story about my name. I used to be Rainstorm or Skystorm before I joined Wands and Worlds. I made up Wildflower when I was messing with that Warrior Name Generator thing and loved it so much that it became my new favorite! I never changed my name yet on Wands and Worlds, I'm always Wildflower cause I love that name so much. :)

Soundstorm is the name of a story character in my friend's fanfic. I helped him write it (and edited it a little), and he said I could use Soundstorm to represent me (Soundstorm was the deputy of MountainClan), just as Frostbite (the leader) represented him. Then I joined this site under that name. So yeah.

I wanted to be Thunderstorm at first because I have a cat named Thunder and a cat named Storm and I thought it was a cool name, but when I joined it was already taken so I shortened it to Thunder, which is what everyone knows me by now.

The name I got on the name generater was Fuzzypool and I was like O_O' no way.

Then Willowfeather thought of some warrior names for me and I picked Darkflame out of them. The awesome part is Darkflame has something to do with my favorite band. *I know I don't have to say it but I'll say it anyway* AFI!!!! *pokes lyrics in siggie*

I've always liked the warrior name minnow and I used to have a cat named Amber so I put them together.

When I first got addicted to Warriors I was also into birdwatching, so I called myself Hawkwing. That got old when I learned of the newer, more creative names. I wrote down on a huge peice of paper about a hundred of the coolest names I could think of. I had originally gone with Snakeheart, but when I looked back it looked too girly, so I kept experimenting until I got Snakefire, which sounded awesome.

Vixenfur came from my interest in foxes. I love their sneakiness and beauty, so i made Vixenfur, and NO she is NOT from christmas!! XD She was first orange with amber eyes, black legs, white tipped tail, and a dot of white on her muzzle, but her current description is blow this text. ^^ I thought Foxfur was SO boring and plain, and I haven't seen any Vixen's yet, so eh. XD

My offical warrior name was Spottedmask, i didn't really like that.

My grandma went to get my Warriors Book signed, and it was too late but they asked for a warroir name for it to be signed with. I got it signed with my real name, but afterwards i didn't know what my warrior name would be. So i came up with some names like Blizzardsong, and Bluestone. But then i chose the ending as -Storm. Because i just like that ending. XP I am normally shy and quiet in real life. But Shystorm and Quietstorm sound sort of funky so another word for Quiet is Silent. So Yah, thats how Silentstorm was made.

I was just reading one of the Erin Hunter transcripts, and they were talking about how they liked to use names authentic to the Clan's surroundings, like plants and ideas they knew of.
Then it just occured to me; they've never used 'Nettle', like the stinging nettles that would torment us all as kids! So I took up Nettlepaw

Well, a few days later I bought 'Code of the Clans' and there was a minor character called Nettlepad in it. I'm not fooling myself into thinking they took my name - the book would've been written WAY before I thought of it! - but I hope the Erins will use it for a proper character sometime...Nettlekit has a good ring to it!

I am fascinated & entranced by the crescent moon – especially when it’s a thread-thin sliver. I long ago called my non-existent business Crescent Moon Designs & then Crescent Moon Arts when I couldn’t get a domain name with “design.” I think “arts” will fit better anyway – if I ever do anything with it. So when I joined W&W, it just seemed like the name to use even though it isn’t a true Warrior-type name.
