Wands and Worlds Downtime, Thursday 7/16
The time has finally come! soon the old wands and worlds will be no more, and from its ashes will rise and even greater W&W, the likes of which have never been seen before. 8D
Tommorow at 9:30 AM EST, wands and worlds will be offline as me and sheila switch everything over to the new server. it is most likely going to be down for most of the day, unless the new server decides to be a good boy (so far it hasn't XD).
We assure you that the downtime will be worth it, there will be lots of cool new features to experiment, play around with, and ultimately make this an even greater community! (like we needed to make the most addicting site in the world even more addicting XD)

Coal: Is it my computer that makes the middle column SO WIDE in all the themes? It's over half the screen. It's the same at home or at work - 2 different computers.

I have to close my favorites

I have to close my favorites at work to see all of the side columns & at home if I spread the window so I can see it all, it covers the icons I have along the right side of my screen. I had to move them to the bottom. I guess I'll get used to that, but I still can't see my clock & other gadgets along the right side. Don't think they can be moved.

You're welcome to try to access the site during the day. If it's not up, you'll just get a message that the site is down for maintenance. We'll try to remember to put the address of alternate W&W in the maintenance message.
Don't expect it to be quick, though. We'll do the best we can, but it's going to take a while. Tomorrow will be a good day for you to get out away from the computer and do something else. XD
Spottedshadow, I don't think that we can make the sig box hold more text. That's unfortunately designed into the database that way by the software. I'll see if there's any change in the new version, but I don't think so. Sorry.
