I received these City of Ember movie stills from Amber Baynor, the "Official City of Ember Ambassador" (what a cool job, eh?) I think that they are gorgeous, and I sure hope that the movie lives up to expectations. I'm always nervous when they make movies of favorite books, but for the most part, what I've seen so far looks good.

If anyone here has read the Ember books here there is a new new one coming out called the Diamond of Darkhold. If you haven't read the Ember series you should read it. It consists of four books (the fourth being the Diamond of Darkhold). The first is the City of Ember, then the People of Sparks, then the Prophet of Yonwood, then the Diamond of Darkhold.
