I just read a fantastic book called Book of a Thousand Days, by Shannon Hale. It's about a Lady who is sealed in a tower for seven years for refusing to marry the Lord her father thinks she should marry, but the story is really about the Lady's maid, Dashti, who is sealed in with her to take care of her.
